Charis surprised me for my birthday with a trip to Venice!! We saw lots of the city by walking endlessly around it. We took one of the several free walking tours and it added a lot of context to our surroundings.
We got to see three of the surrounding islands of Venice by boat and admired the views from the top of St Mark’s Campanile. Since we are basic tourists, we also took a classic Venetian gondola ride.
Also, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING (obvious but had to be said)!
